	Speaker Location Experiment with the position of your speakers. Placing them too close to a rear wall will accentuate the bass frequencies, but make the sound lose "dimension". If your speakers are placed too close to side walls the sound may become confused and vague (like most of us here). This is because you hear a large percentage of the sound as reflected by the walls, which "colours" the end result. Some brands of speakers actually encourage a large amount of reflected sound! No points for guessing how they sound! Try to place your speakers at least a metre from the side walls and a minimum of 30cm from the rear wall. This is a good place to start experimenting from. 	Bi-wiring and Bi-amping Many modern speakers are provided with two pairs of speaker terminals, this allows you to either bi-wire or bi-amplify them. The aim of both these techniques is not to simply get you to spend more on cables and electronics ( although we won't mind if you do! ) but to improve the resolution of the speakers.
